service coordinator (full time)
The Service Coordinator is a pivotal part of the Interfaith Shelter team! If you have a heart to invest in and care for those experiencing homelessness and food insecurity, this role will give you the opportunity to be hands on in supporting individuals and families by setting the tone and atmosphere through each interaction and task you do. We are currently seeking to hire two Service Coordinators - one First Shift and one Second Shift. Position offers competitive pay, based on experience, along with many full time benefits. Some weekend hours will be required.
food service coordinator
The Food Service Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring every client at Jackson Interfaith Shelter receives consistent, nutritious meals. This position serves as the cook and organizer for kitchen and pantry operations, as well as the main point of contact for food service volunteers. The Food Service Coordinator plans and prepares weekly menus, oversees daily meal production, and ensures all food is handled and served in compliance with health department standards. This role is central to our mission of addressing food insecurity and caring for our community through meals made with excellence and compassion.
